I guess by the posting from Ian on Dragsites message board is that the NSDRA came up with the five million that the Region of Queens wanted for the airport!!! This is Ian's quote " We always need volunteers here at Greenfield. The success of the track depends on it. We start set up at 9AM the Friday of race weekend, we tear down right after the last two cars run. Please try to do your share to help easy the load of the generous volunteers that do make the commitment already. We need workers for the staging lanes, the burnout box, even if you can give a few hours, the workers need the relief in the heat.The track is OWNED by the racers NSDRA its your track.Please do what you can to help make it a success. Tufts I would guess " !!!!!
